Jeffrey S. Hatfield, Chief
Executive Officer. Prior to joining VITAE PHARMACEUTICALS,
Inc., Mr. Hatfield spent 19 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Inc. in
a variety of operating positions of increasing responsibility. Most
recently, he was Senior Vice President of one of the most
successful BMS divisions, the $1 billion Virology/Immunology Division,
where Mr. Hatfield was responsible for sales, marketing, policy and
medical strategy within the HIV, hepatitis and RA therapeutic
categories. Previously, he held positions including President and
General Manager, BMS-Canada, and Vice President, Managed Health
Care. Mr. Hatfield holds a BS in Pharmacy from Purdue University
and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. 
John J. Baldwin, Ph.D.,
Co-founder. Prior
to joining VITAE PHARMACEUTICALS, Inc., Dr. Baldwin spent nine
years at Pharmacopeia, Inc., where he was a co-founder and served
as Chief Scientific and Technology Officer. Prior to Pharmacopeia,
Dr. Baldwin was a Distinguished Senior Scientist at Merck &
Co., where he spent 33 years in various scientific and management
positions. He has authored more than 100 publications; has been a
guest-lecturer at over 125 national and international scientific
programs; holds over 180 U.S. issued patents; and has been
associated with several successful drugs including Trusopt,
(dorzolamide hydrochloride ophthalmic solution), a drug for
preventing glaucoma, Cosopt, Crixivan and Agristat. Dr. Baldwin
received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Delaware and
his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Minnesota. 
Richard Gregg, Ph.D.,
Chief Scientific Officer.
Prior to joining VITAE PHARMACEUTICALS, Inc., Dr. Gregg spent
19 years leading various groups at Bristol-Myers Squibb Research and
Development. For the last seven years, he was Vice President of
Clinical Discovery where he was responsible for Early Clinical Development,
Clinical Pharmacology, Translational Medicine, and Biomarker Technologies.
During that time, Dr. Gregg developed and led the BMS efforts in the
application of cutting edge science and analytical technologies to the clinical
investigation of new drugs. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Metabolic
and Cardiovascular Drug Discovery where the focus was on discovery
of new drugs for diabetes, dyslipidemia, and atherosclerotic vascular disease.
Before coming to BMS, Dr. Gregg spent ten years at the National Heart,
Lung, and Blood Institute in Bethesda, MD where he studied disorders of lipid
and lipoprotein metabolism. Dr. Gregg has more than 120 publications in
leading medical and research journals, and has presented his research findings
at national an d international meetings throughout the world. Dr. Gregg
earned his BS and MS from Iowa State University and his MD from
Stanford University School of Medicine. He did his internship and residency
in Internal Medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, and
completed his fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the National
Institutes of Health. Dr. Gregg is board certified in Internal Medicine and
in Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Tina Fiumenero,
Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining VITAE PHARMACEUTICALS, Ms. Fiumenero spent 13 years
at Bristol-Myers Squibb where most recently she served as Sr. Director
Finance, US Primary Care leading a finance organization supporting
over $5 billion in sales. Ms. Fiumenero held a number of finance
positions of increasing responsibility at Bristol-Myers Squibb
spanning commercial operations, mergers and acquisitions and
manufacturing. Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ms. Fiumenero
worked as a financial auditor for Coopers & Lybrand. She holds a
B.S. degree in accounting from New York University and is a Certified
Public Accountant.

David A. Claremon, Ph.D., Vice
President of Chemistry. Dr. Claremon has over 20 years of
experience in Medicinal Chemistry at Merck & Co. where he was
Senior Director, Medicinal Chemistry, prior to joining VITAE
PHARMACEUTICALS, Inc. While at Merck, his research group
successfully identified several development candidates including an
anti-arrhythmic (MK-499) and an oral fibrinogen receptor antagonist
(L-738,167). He has authored over 50 publications and is an
inventor on 65 patents. He has a Bachelors degree in chemistry from
Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. from the University of
Pennsylvania in Organic Chemistry under the direction of Professor
K.C. Nicolaou. 
Kevin J. Heyeck, Vice President of
Business Development. Prior to joining VITAE
PHARMACEUTICALS, Inc., Mr. Heyeck spent six years at Pharmacopeia,
Inc, where he rose through increasing levels of responsibility in
business development, assuming leadership for business development
in 2001. During his tenure at Pharmacopeia Mr. Heyeck was
responsible for negotiating and securing over two dozen research
collaborations and corporate partnerships with pharmaceutical
companies around the world. Prior to Pharmacopeia, he was a
Technology Transfer Officer at Harvard University for five years,
managing emerging technologies from the University's research
laboratories. Mr. Heyeck received his B.A. in Politics at the
University of California, Santa Cruz. 
Gerard M. McGeehan, Ph.D., Vice
President of Discovery Biology.
Prior to joining VITAE
PHARMACEUTICALS, Inc., Dr. McGeehan was Executive Director of Lead
Discovery at the DuPont Pharmaceuticals Company in Wilmington,
Delaware. In 1988, he joined Glaxo Inc. (RTP), where he last served
as head of the Biochemistry Department. He moved to Rhone-Poulenc
Rorer in 1995, where he served as Director of Inflammation and
established the Department of Lead Generation. Dr. McGeehan's
research interests have included the pharmacology of proteolytic
enzymes and receptors, new assay methods and exploration of
problems at the biology/chemistry interface. Dr. McGeehan received
his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Stanford University and served
as an NSF post-doctoral fellow at the ETH-Zurich.
